The british chain BBC announced that in January 2017, when we commemorate a year of the death of David Bowie, in theaters documentary based on the last five years of his life.
The production will have as focus on a period in the life d Bowie who was characterized by his disappearance from the public sphere, despite the release of their discs "The Next Day" and "Blackstar", according to The Reason.
The film will have unreleased recordings that illustrate the creative process that I hold the artist in the production of their two latest works, plus interviews without publication, in which the musician discusses the sources of inspiration that led him to return to the studio.
The documentary entitled "David Bowie: The last five years", will be directed by Francis Whately, and will be issued, initially on BBC Two.
The creators want the film to offer a "new focus on the facet of creative music star , beyond the aesthetic and the different styles of sound that he cultivated in life, will mainly focus on the topics that particularly explored in the last five years".
Adam Baker, the chief executive of BBC Two and BBC Four, said: "all of us at BBC Two we are delighted to have commissioned the making of this documentary that will serve to document some of the more recent accomplishments of one of the figures most special in the history of music and our country."
