    CAIRO, EGYPT (13/NOV/2016).- Archaeologists spaniards discovered a mummy pharaonic ancient “in very good condition”, in a tomb near Luxor, south of Egypt, announced Sunday the ministry of Antiquities.

    The discovery was near a temple built by a pharaoh of dynasty 18, Thutmose III (1479-1425 bce) in the east side of Luxor, a true open-air museum is 700 kilometres south of Cairo.

    “The most beautiful mummy, which is covered in layers of linen plastered is in very good condition”, according to a press release of the ministry of Antiquities.

    The mummy was found in a sarcophagus in wood of vivid colors, in a tomb that could be from the third period intermediary (1075 to 664 bc) and whose owner would be a man of the nobility, Amenrenef, which leads to the title of “servant of the royal house”, according to the text.

    The cast of the mummy “presents many colorful decorations that take up religious symbols of ancient Egypt, as the goddesses Isis and Nephthys spreading their wings, or the four sons of Horus,” according to the head of the archaeological mission, Myriam Seco Álvarez.

    Luxor city south of Egypt that has 500 thousand inhabitants, is famous for its temples and pharaonic in the levee of the Nile.

    GUADALAJARA, JALISCO (13/NOV/2016).- The cultural community expressed its sorrow for the death the cartoonist Rogelio Naranjo.

    The cartoonist died at age 79 because of a heart attack at midnight on the Friday. He was hospitalized from days before.

    In 2008, the cartoonist received The Award "la Catrina", in the International Meeting of Caricature and Cartoon, during the International Fair of the Book of Guadalajara.
