“Allies”, the thriller, romantic starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard – euronews

French actress Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt arrived on Sunday to the red carpet on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, for the premiere of the film starring. "Allies," a trhiller romantic in the height of the Second World War the director-Robert Zemeckis

"Allies" is the story of Max Vatan, a pilot sent by british intelligence on a mission in Morocco during the Second World War.

There he falls in love with Marianne Beausejour, a combatant in the French Resistance, with whom he had just married. The problems come when Max doubts the true identity of his wife.

"This movie was more a universal story about love, about trust. Trust the person you love, trust your intuition, to trust even in the work that you do, the mission in itself, and this is what I really liked about the script," said Brad Pitt during the premiere in Paris.

At the height of the war, the relationship is threatened when Max is informed that his wife might be a spy in the service of the nazis. He, convinced of his innocence, he will fight to clear his name.

For Pitt, Cotillard has been an "excellent partner" of distribution:

"Marianne Beausejour – Beausejour – Is known for being cheerful and I would describe Marion as a very similar, very lively. It is awful to have to say these compliments delanete it. I am not accustomed," said the actor, looking at Marion Cotillard.

"Say it in French. And so I do not understand anything", he replied between laughs the actress.

"it Is a great companion," continued Pitt. "Because this is a movie to two hands and she needs someone who can do the heavy lifting on certain days and specific scenes, but it is a real gem. A true gem as a human being".

Pitt and Cotillard will be involved in a story with high doses of espionage, suspense, seduction and betrayal, that will hit Spanish screens on November 25.
