Today is the 25th anniversary of the physical disappearance of Freddie Mercury, one of the biggest stars in the history of rock, the leader of the legendary british band Queen.

Born on 5 September 1946 on the island of Zanzibar (Tanzania), his real name was Farrokh Bulsara, but his classmates couldn’t pronounce “Farrokh”, so that they began to call him Freddie, just like his family, while the last Mercury was adopted from a song that he wrote.

Creator of topics immortals as Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions or Somebody to Love, Freddie became one of the artists most charismatic on the stage, and their performances represented an entire school for singer-songwriters that came after him.

Cesar Andres Gonzalez (parent), group C3, ensures that you will pass is still time to bring up another figure as Mercury. “There are many talents who do not have the charisma that had Freddie, nor their artistic ability, their dress, their way of dealing with the shows. He was driving to 80,000 or 100,000 people, that means having a lot of positive energy. He radiated that, apart from the spread of talent on the stage. He was a genius,” stresses Caesar.

Unmatched. Gonzalez reiterates that there is someone who can replace Freddie, and recalled the case of the same group Queen, a band that tried to continue the scene after the departure of Mercury, with great singers such as Robbie Williams or Paul Rodgers, but who has not reached the impact of decades past.

“There are a lot of people who sing very well, but do not reach the magnitude of Freddie Mercury, because he was handling the vocal, artistic and even spiritual; the energy within the stage,” says the member of C3.

he Adds that it takes 42 years of career and learned that an artist must know how to handle the public, to have charisma, because with the years you are losing qualities like voice, and you have to learn how to cope with success.

“Freddie Mercury made a great contribution to the music, his singing, because he was a lyrical singer. It’s like putting Pavarotti or Placido Domingo singing pop stuff. Freddie Mercury is a singer tenor that he applied to the music lyric to pop music. Had the qualities amazing, a a carefree dress, interacted with the audience, composed, played the piano live. It was very full,” says Caesar.

in Addition, notes that the arrangements in the songs created were “sensational”, citing hits such as Crazy little thing called love, I want to break free, Don t stop me now, and We will rock you.

Hymns. For his part, the driver, and Dj Jorge Ratti said that Mercury “left off songs that are hymns,” among which we may also mention, Under pressure, Friends will be Friends Radio Ga Ga or The show must go on (written by Brian May for Freddie, which appeared as single in October 1991).

“Freddie Mercury is a type, that is passed all the limits established in the music, with his life and his work. What he generated as a personality, few artists can say they achieved”, says Ratti.

he Adds that the singer was part of a very important group like Queen. “My son is ten years old and says that his favorite group is Queen. Imagine, is a band that ceased to be active, and which continues to influence so many generations,” he notes.

Stands that Bohemian Rhapsody is ranked as one of the best songs of the history, although strangely enough, is a theme without choir. “One wonders how they find the courage to do something like that, and so so cool. Artists are transversal to all ages,” says Jorge Ratti.
