Dies Florence Henderson, matriarch in ‘The tribe Brady’ – The Universe

The actress Florence Henderson, matriarch in 'The tribe Brady', cult series of the 1970s – died at the age of 82.

Henderson died as a result of a cardiac arrest in a hospital in Los Angeles.

The actress achieved success in his career to play Carol Brady on the comedy centered on the life of a typical american family.

'The tribe Brady' told the story of a family formed by the marriage of a widower with three daughters and a widow with three children.

The series premiered in 1969 and lasted until 1974, but you can still see in replays.

"Florence Henderson was a dear friend from many years ago", tweeted his colleague Maureen McCormick, who took the role of Marcia, the older daughter of the serial. "Hugs to your family", he added.

Born February 14, 1934 in Indiana, the career of Henderson started when he was 17 years at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.

he made his Debut on Broadway at 18 years old with a small role in the musical 'Wish You Were Here' and later appeared in 'Oklahoma!'. (I)
