This project is another bet by Disney live-action. Adaptations like Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent, and Cinderella have been a success.
Actress Reese Witherspoon will become the new Disney Tinkerbell. She will be part of the live action of this iconic character.
This time, Reese will star in Tink , based on the iconic and fearless Fairy Peter Pan.
Witherspoon will not only act in the film, but also serve as a producer along with his friend and partner Bruna Papandrea.
Victoria Strouse, who wrote ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘Finding Dory’ , will be responsible for writing the script for this film that is still in the development stage.
Although this project does not have head or release date, the producers say the film will focus on the cute character of Tinkerbell, offering viewers a new way of seeing the story of the boy who refused to grow.
Tinker Bell, had already been played by another actress above. In 1991, Julia Roberts gave life to the character in the film Hook, a film about Peter Pan, starring Robin Williams.
Disney has carved out a great success with other live-action films like Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent, and Cinderella; to which are added shortly Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and now Tink.
