Authorities in the state of Nevada (USA) investigated whether the death of BB King was a homicide, following a complaint by two of the daughters of the artist, who claim that the “king of the blues” was poisoned.

While confirming that an investigation be made, the Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg, told NBC on Tuesday that the initial results of the autopsy performed on King, who died last May 14 to 89, have not provided “no evidence to support “ the accusations of the daughters of the singer.

Fudenberg said that the full results of the autopsy are known in a period of between six and eight weeks.

Despite for now there is no “evidence” of the alleged poisoning, “will conduct a thorough investigation and we are coordinating our efforts with the Homicide Division of the Department of the Metropolitan Police of Las Vegas” , he said.

Initially, authorities reported the death of the “king of the blues” was caused by complications from diabetes who suffered for years.

This weekend two of the daughters of singer Patty King and Karen Williams, but filed two affidavits separate in which they claim to believe that his father “was killed” .

The two women claim that the artist was “poisoned” to “induce his untimely death” and accuse it to the representative of King, LaVerne Toney, and his personal assistant, Myron Johnson.
