From the Mississippi plantation scenarios and bound to heaven, the powerful voice of the “ King of the blues ” BB King and his stinging guitar “Lucille” marked generations that mourned his death in an emotional posthumous tribute in the streets.
The blues legend, which inspired several musicians for decades, died the age of 89 years. His daughter Patty King , said his father, great figure of music in the United States, was admitted to a hospital in Las Vegas this month after suffering dehydration.
King was nicknamed “ King of the blues ” and is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time. He had entered the Hall of Fame Blues and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Roll.
King was the bluesman more Grammys collected, with a total of fifteen.
With more than 50 albums released, King is known for hits such as “ Three O’Clock Blues ” 1950s, “ The Thrill Is Gone ” , 1970, or “ When Love Comes to Town “, recorded in 1989 by the Irish group U2.
