Starts Madrid Book Fair – The Universal

The 74 edition of the Fair Book Madrid began today with an extensive program of activities including book presentations, seminars, literary events, book signings and children’s workshops, among others.
 


 Honored Queen Sofia inaugurated the event of May 29 to June 14 meet at the Buen Retiro Park to 471 exhibitors in 368 booths and numerous institutional spaces, plus conference halls and spaces for children’s reading.
 


 


 The fair begins with the presentation of the writer Dolores Redondo, author of the thriller trilogy Baztán , one of the most widely read in recent years in Spain.

 In the inaugural tour, Queen Sofia received several books from booksellers and publishers, such as essays Hunger , Martin Caparros; Beauty lawless , Juan Goytisolo; Books and freedom , Emilio Lledo.
