Blasts Garfunkel Paul Simon – The Universal

The singer Art Garfunkel reaffirmed its absolute break with his former partner Paul Simon, with whom he formed the famous duo Simon & amp; Garfunkel, whom he referred to as “a monster with a Napoleon complex”.

Speaking of his upcoming solo shows in the UK, dating to September, the artist offered some interviews, which recalled his departure from the group when it was at the peak of his popularity.

Told the “Sunday Telegraph” Garfunkel recalled how stressful it was part of the duo, which led him to flee at the height of glory, rather than enjoy it.

“What we should have done is break from Paul, because I was collapsing.”

The singer hinted that the development of a problematic character in his former teammate could be due to his small stature.

“This compensation ended up creating a monster” and then answer “say yes” when asked if Simon had “Napoleon complex”.

Garfunkel also compared their relationship to that George Harrison had with Paul McCartney , confidences from the late former Beatle would have done.

“My Paul is for me what your Paul is for you,” said Harrison at a party. “He meant that psychologically had the same effect on us. The Paul marginalized us. I think George felt suppressed by Paul (McCartney), and I think that’s what he also saw between Paul (Simon) and me.”

Although this vision of working together, Garfunkel not a possible further meeting with Simon, whom he last performed in 2010 refused.
