The Spanish actress Emma Suarez and Adriana Ugarte interpreted into a single woman, Juliet in the new film by Pedro Almodóvar: Silence, which begins shooting in May, the production company El Deseo reported
. Filming will take place in different parts of Spain.
The character of Juliet is “a woman struggling on the brink of madness,” the producer said in a statement, and will be surrounded by a chorus of secondary and Inma Cuesta, Rossy de Palma, Nathalie Poza, Pilar Castro and Michelle Jenner.
Also in the cast Darío Grandinetti, as the adult lover and Susi Sánchez, mother and grandmother.
Silence, which started in 1985 and runs until today, discusses the inevitable fate of guilt complex and unfathomable mystery that does leave people who loves deleting them from the life of someone like if they never meant anything.
Pedro Almodóvar with this film returns to the drama and the female universe. This would be the 20th film of the director’s career. (E)
