Jay-Z launches music streaming platform – The Universal


 After the controversy that caused the system that has operated Spotify to offer music streaming and some artists like Taylor Swift were considered little benefit, rapper Jay-Z has launched a competition of this new market with its own digital music company.
 


 


 It is Tidal, streaming music service began operating from 15:00 hours on Monday and will seek to compete with large like iTunes and Spotify, but with the difference that in this new platform will be no free memberships.
 


 


 The service will have two types of accounts: one with a cost of $ 9.99 and the other of 19.99.
 


 


 According to company reports, the husband of Beyoncé has invested in this new company about 57 million dollars to buy Aspiro, Swedish company behind this new platform.
 


 


 Currently the service is available in the United States, Germany, Canada, France, Hong Kong and Germany, and no one knows when it will come to Mexico. Moreover, it is supported by major industry players such as Daft Punk, Coldplay, Madonna, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé.
