Bayonne finished filming ‘A monster comes to see me’ – Vavel.com

After 16 weeks of shooting, has Barcelona finished the recording process of the new film by Juan Antonio Bayona . Based on a novel by Patrick Ness, A monster comes to see me, tells the story of a boy named Conor who tries to cope with her illness her mother with the help of a monster that will visit at night.

After the success achieved with The orphanage and The impossible , Bayonne now intends to return to a place on the top of box office with this film that according to the director is one of the most personal stories that have taken place to date . “I am very pleased to have successfully completed the filming of A monster comes to me , the most personal of the stories I have addressed to date. The narrative of this film technical challenge and is still immense. What remains ahead over a year of complex postproduction “said the filmmaker.

The film is produced by Apaches Entertainment, Telecinco Cinema and Films La Trini. It will also be made with technology ‘Performance Capture’ used by directors like Steven Spielberg to be combined with special effects.
