The British writer of comic and fantasy novels Terry Pratchett , internationally known for his series Discworld , died today at age 66, he informed his publisher, Transworld.
Its editor, Larry Finlay, said the author, suffering from alzheimer for some years, died “at home with your cat sleeping in his bed surrounded by his family.”
“In his 70 books, Terry enriched the world like few before. Like all those who will have read know, Discworld was his vehicle to satirize the world, and he did brilliantly, with great skill, great humor and constant inventiveness,” said .
