Novelist Jackie Collins dies of cancer at age 77 – El Universal (Venezuela)

Drafting INTERNATIONAL.- The renowned novelist Jackie Collins, born in London, died yesterday at age 77 due to breast cancer, People magazine, quoting a statement reported family.

“With great sadness we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and loving mother Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today,” said the statement released Saturday by the Collins family, who lived in Beverly Hills, California (US).

Diagnosed Stage 4 breast cancer six and a half years ago, Collins chose to keep their disease almost entirely for itself, relying primarily on their three daughters, Tracy, 54 Tiffany, 48, and Rory, 46, adds the American magazine, reported Efe.

“She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and millions of readers that has entertained for over four decades, “the statement said.

Collins was a prolific writer, with over 500 million copies sold and whose novels were translated into 40 languages.
