Daughter of Paul Walker Sues Porsche fatal accident – El Nuevo Herald

The daughter of Paul Walker Porsche on Monday sued for wrongful death, claiming the vehicle he was riding his father when he died suffered from several design flaws.

The demand introduced by Meadow Rain Walker seeks compensation for an unspecified amount for defects, according to his lawyers, they kept the actor trapped in the Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed and caught fire in November 2013.

Walker I was on a break from filming the seventh film “Fast & amp; Furious” franchise when he died. He was aboard a Carrera GT driven by his friend and business partner, Roger Rhodes, when the car went out of control, it crashed into three trees and caught fire on a street in Santa Clarita, California.

The lawsuit claims that the car, which is marketed as a vehicle for legal careers to be driven on streets, lacked a control system suitable stability and measures to protect occupants and prevent a fire following a collision.

“In the absence of such defects in the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker today be alive,” says the lawsuit.

An email to the representatives of Porsche Cars North America was not responded immediately.

The demand for 18-page report includes a detailed account of the accident and noted that the Porsche would be between 101 and 114 kph (63-71 mph) when it went out of control.

The researchers conclude that the vehicle was at a much higher speed, 151 kph (94 mph) at the time of the accident.

The investigation by the police department of Los Angeles County and the California Highway Patrol concluded that it was unsafe speed and no mechanical problems that caused the accident. The research was assisted by Porsche engineers, who evaluated the remains of the car.
