CALIFORNIA, USA, Sep. 20, 2015.- The renowned novelist Jackie Collins, born in London, died on Saturday at age 77 due to breast cancer, People magazine reported, citing a statement from the family said.
“With great sadness we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and loving mother Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today,” said the statement released Saturday by the Collins family, who lived in Beverly Hills, California, United States.
Diagnosed in stage four breast cancer six and a half years ago, Collins chose to keep their disease almost entirely for itself, relying primarily on their three daughters, Tracy, 54, Tiffany, 48, and Rory, 46, adds the American magazine.
“She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who has entertained for more than four decades, “the statement added.
