Apocalypse Now is video game Kickstarter – IGN Spain

As good and crazy as it seems, the legendary Apocalypse Now become a video game if so what the community wants and supports the recently launched campaign in Kickstarter that requires 900,000 dollars to become a reality.

In the development of this video game are great professionals of the industry who have worked in works such as Fallout: New Vegas, Wasteland 2, Far Cry and Torment: Tides Numenera, among many others.

The very Francis Ford Coppola is behind the ad, and to carry it out has assembled a good team of developers in AAA that it intends to move away from the traditional representation of the horrors of war in the video game world. By these the creative behind the project talk about doing a Survival Horror with a touch of RPG and not a game action to use.

The main story will take us to live the mission of Benjamin Willard to kill Colonel Walter E. Kurtz. During the adventure we will meet mythical characters from the tape and live situations that will delight fans of the same.

For the moment, the main handicap of the project is that they have shown rather little of the same and it will not help that to get almost a million dollars despite the fact that the license to be a bitch in film history.

there are No platforms confirmed for now, but you can follow the official account of the game on Twitter to be attentive to each new detail of the same.

And don’t miss out…
