He died in the model and singer Bimba Bosé – Semana.com

The singer, model, and multidisciplinary artist Spanish Bimba Bosé, niece of singer Miguel Bosé, died today in Madrid at the age of 41 from breast cancer, according to familiar sources.

Surrounded by their closest family, the granddaughter of the bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín and the actress Lucia Bosé died in the madrid Hospital Ramón y Cajal, after two years of struggle against the disease.

The Spanish artist, who suffered metastasis in bones, liver and brain, he confirmed his illness in may of 2014 with a photo in your profile of Facebook, in which he appeared with a scarf that covered her head, the sign of the treatment to which I was submitting.

During the illness, with which he fought alongside his current partner, also a model and DJ british Charlie Center, the muse and great friend of the couturier Spanish David Delfín always maintained a positive attitude and continued to work during all the time that he could, without losing the smile, convinced that this would beat the cancer.

The daughter of Lucía Dominguín Bosé, who in may of 2014 she underwent a mastectomy of the left breast, she even came to parade in September 2015 in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid for the designer Dolphin.

The singer, who exercised his profession as a model until last year, was the mother of two girls, Dora and June, 13 and 5 years old, the fruit of her relationship with Diego Postigo.

Bimba created his own record label and formed part of the group, The Convertibles, with which he made his debut with the may 7, 2007 singing a version of “Like I love you”, of Rocío Jurado.

This same year he recorded a duet with Miguel Bosé the song “Like a wolf” for the album of your uncle “Daddy”. Also in march 2007 opened the exhibition “Rock&Fashion” in Barcelona.

In 2009, he recorded his first album, “Demo”, in New York at the orders of producer Andres Levin.

Among his film credits are the movies “The consul of Sodom” (2010), Sigfrid Monleón; the short film “Run a way” (2012), Diego Postigo; Juliet (2016), by Pedro Almodóvar, and the television series “The looming”(2014).

In 2011, he was one of the four Spanish who participated in the Calendar Harper’s Bazaar and Swarovski 2012.

The model resided for years in New York and paraded around for prominent designers such as Gucci and David Dolphin, as well as for the prestigious magazine.
