Casey Affleck goes back to their roots – The Times

The actions of Casey Affleck are trading higher than ever after his acclaimed performance in the film Kenneth Lonergan’s "Manchester by the Sea" turned into one of the sides most well-known of Hollywood.

The interpreter 41-year-old, winner of the Golden Globe for best dramatic actor and one of the favorites for the Oscars in February, will be seen soon incarnating a disruptive role played in an independent film, wrapped in a blanket and, without a word for a good part of the work.

"He and I have been friends for so long that at this point it is fun to see him receive all this acclaim," said Lowery to AFP on Sunday, before the world premiere of "Ghost Story" in the independent Film Festival Sundance.

"Working with him is like hanging out with a good friend, and this is not a typical movie that makes an actor of his calibre," added the filmmaker’s of 36 years.

it Is possible that Affleck has not paid the airfare to go to Texas to shoot "A Ghost Story", but hardly took his best caching day.

With a house as almost unique location, the film was recorded secretly during two months of summer spent in Dallas, Texas, with a budget just lame.

Lowery began work on the film a few days after directing a million-dollar remake of Disney’s "My friend the dragon".

The tape, a kind of piece hypnotic meditative, shows Affleck and Rooney Mara together for the first time since the last successful independent of Lowery, the drama "Ain’t Them Bodies Saints" (2013).
