The Spanish film improves 5% of its revenue outside of house – The Universal (Venezuela)

Madrid.- The international box office of Spanish cinema harvested last year, 62 million euros ($ 66 million), representing an increase of almost five percent compared to the previous year, as reported today, the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA).

The drama of Pedro Almodóvar’s “Juliet”, starring Emma Suárez and Adriana Ugarte, leads the ranking of Spanish films with more success outside of the house: released in 50 countries, raised more than 15 million euros. Will follow closely, with almost ten million euros harvested, the tape lively “capture the flag”.

Inside the house, in contrast, the highest grossing movie was the drama fantastic, “A monster comes to see me”, de J. A. Bayona. The closure of his trilogy on the family, which started with “The orphanage” and continued “The impossible”, raised more than 26 million euros (27 million euros), with 4.5 million tickets sold.

In the international rankings, “A monster comes to see me” ranked 20, with a collection of approximately 500,000 euros.
