Madrid .- The Canadian pop band Simple Plan released their fifth studio album “Taking One for the Team” on 19 February, a week before beginning on Spain European tour, which will also take him to France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Switzerland.
As reported by Warner Music, this new work is preceded by launching today the first single from the album,” I Do not Wanna Go to Bed “, a song whose music video stars the US actor David Hasselhoff .
Produced by Howard Benson, for “Taking One for the Team” Pierre Bouvier (vocals) and Chuck Comeau (drums) spent 12 months writing topics in his small studio in southern California to be clear the intention of the album.
The goal was to “reconcile, as they had never done before, the roots of punk rock band with pop baggage achieved over the years,” adds the note.
With over a decade of career behind him, Simple Plan will begin their European performances on February 24 in Madrid and ends on March 24 in London, then from Japan.
