Studio Brussels and created MIRA . also a website called Stardust for Bowie where fans can add their favorite songs from the singer to the constellation in a performance in Google Sky

MIRA Philippe Mollet explained the inspiration of the constellation:

“It was not easy to determine the appropriate star. Studio Brussels asked us to find a unique position in the galaxy to give Bowie. We referring to his various albums, we chose seven stars – Sigma Librae, Spica, Alpha Virginis, Zeta Centauri, SAA 204 132, and Sigma Beta Octanitis Trianguli Australis – in vicinity to Mars. Constellation is a copy of the iconic lightning and was recorded at the exact moment of his death. ” (Ciro Velasquez)
