Carla Bruni in Paris recording a new album – El Diario de Yucatan

         


     

PARIS, France. (EFE) .- The singer and model Carla Bruni is recording a new album in English and French versions in a Paris studio, in what will be their first album since 2013 published “Little French Songs.”

According to the weekly Heart “Gala”, Bruni began last week recording this album, next to the Canadian producer and songwriter David Foster, who has collaborated with artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Bee-Gees or Mariah Carey.

 

Although the recording was initially scheduled for last autumn, the attacks of 13 November in Paris and Saint Denis and the unavailability of Foster for personal reasons have delayed the project for the former first lady and former French couple Nicolas Sarkozy, adding “Gala.”

The number and titles that contain the album, which became the fifth of his discography is still unknown.

The project, According to the publication, no official release date yet, but it could be released in the fall of 2016.

After the success of the single “Quelqu’un m’a dit” in 2002, Bruni took five years to return to studies with “No Promises”, an album in English with less impact.

In 2008, already in the Elysee with Sarkozy, published “Comme Si De Rien N’était” a disk could not promote its functions by first lady.

Three years ago launched “Little French Songs” which included songs like “Raymond”, devoted to her husband, and “Les Diseurs” (Charlatans ), which seemed aimed at journalists.
