Despite the controversy surrounding the Oscars this year because of the lack of diversity in the nominations, Chris Rock is determined to be the animator for the big night.

Reginald Hudlin , producer of the Academy Awards, said on January 23 that Rock is more committed than ever, and will emphasize the controversial issue of the lack of diversity. As reported by Variety, the actor 50 years completely rewrote his opening monologue after famous as Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith began calling for a boycott of the ceremony.

” Chris works hard. He and his team of writers locked in a room. As things became more provocative and exciting, he said ‘I’m going to dismiss what he had written and start writing something new’, “said the producer.

The Academy said Hudlin feels ready to face the comments will Rock. So it appears that his monologue is burning.

“Chris is so careful. So bright. I have complete confidence that tell you something that people will talk about for weeks, “he added. “The Academy knows what the public wants, and we comply with what the people want.”
