The music lovers are away on Saturday in their calendar to celebrate the Record Store Day 2015 , a festival that takes place every year around the world, including Canada .
The idea born in 2007 as a way to celebrate small business owners, those owners of independent record stores around the globe, and the new boom is having vinyl discs , this date has been growing steadily.
The popularity is such that for this version of 2015 the organizers arranged a luxury Ambassador: Dave Grohl . The former Nirvana drummer and mastermind behind Foo Fighters, will be the chief spokesman of the event.
The Day the Music Store is also a perfect time for various artists present some rarities or unreleased productions . For example, own Foo Fighters will launch a 10-inch vinyl called Songs From The Laundry Room , which includes several demos they recorded in Seattle … literally in a laundry room.
Metallica will launch its first demo, with which they began their career, while Mumford and Sons will present a new single on vinyl, which will appear on his next album.
Other artists like Jeff Beck , Interpol and even a new collection of Miles Davis .
