The journal Empire published the first pictures of the filming of Victor Frankenstein , the next film in the films of legendary monster created by the British writer, Mary Shelley , starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe .
Victor Frankenstein tells the story of the scientist who played at being God from the point of view of Igor , his faithful assistant, this time played by Daniel Radcliffe , and the obsession of both to create life, something that will make them truly unthinkable, bloody and dark deeds.
Similarly, this is modern version, Igor is seen as a handsome young man with long hair and impeccable styling, contrary to the image we have of him as a small man with a hump and truly unpleasant.
“As much as the monster is his creation, Igor also it is. This is very exciting. It’s a though very dark in a cool way very funny script,” explained James McAvoy on the set, who will play the genius Victor Frankenstein .
The film is directed by Paul McGuigan , whose latest film released was Push (2009), focusing on directing episodes of television series such as Sherlock , Monroe and Scandal . For its part, the script for Victor Frankenstein is Max Landis , famous for his libretto by Chronicle (2012 ).
With a premiere set for October 2, Victor Frankenstein is directed by Paul McGuigan and starring James McAvoy Daniel Radcliffe , Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott, Mark Gatiss and Callum Turner.
