The South Korean Psy release new album in December – Globovisión

The South Korean singer Psy , famous for his hit “Gangnam Style”, launched in early December its new album in over three years, promising to return “to their roots,” said his agency this Tuesday.

The flamboyant singer achieved worldwide stardom in 2012 after the video for “Gangnam Style” with its unmistakable dance as a horse, became viral.

Up the sun today, this remains the most watched video on YouTube with over 2,400 million visits since its two singles later – “Gentleman” in April 2013 and “Hangover” in collaboration with the American rapper Snoop Dogg in June 2014, received a warm welcome by the fans.

The launch of the new album by South Korean artist, 37, is scheduled for December 1 , said YG Entertainment through a statement.

Before “Gangnam Style” conquer the world, Psy was already a famous artist in South Korea for their provocative lyrics , its satirical humor and his groundbreaking-and sometimes alcoholizadas- staged in South Korean society very rules.

For some of his followers, Psy lost some of its essence after reaching a fame that allowed him to rub shoulders with heads of State and big business.

The artist himself has often shown signs of exhaustion to the point of limiting his public appearances during the past year, relative disengagement to be exploited to prepare their seventh album.
