Annie Hall is the funniest script – The Universal

The filmmaker Woody Allen is coming off another victory in his career, as the script of his film Annie Hall was elected as the funniest in the history of filmmaking in the United States.

The Writers Guild of America and the Writers Guild of America, West and East, unveiled on Wednesday its official list of the 101 funniest scripts.

The list, indicates DEADLINE , spanning more than a century of cinema and there are recurring names.

The first place went to Woody Allen for his work on Annie Hall, followed by Some Like It Hot (A Eva and two Adams), Billy Wilder & amp; IA L. Diamond , while the third place went to Groundhog Day (Groundhog Day) Danny Rubin and Harold Ramis.

scripts Airplane, Tootsie, Young Frankenstein, Dr. Strangelove, Blazing Saddles and Monty Python and the Holy Grail occupy the rest of the top 10 positions.

Take the Money and Run , Broadway, Sleeper, Bananas, Love and Death and Manhattan Woody Allen also among the funniest scripts.

Ethan and Joel Coe, Charles Chaplin and Harold Ramis are others who have several titles in the list .

Annie Hall is a story about a neurotic New York comedian and his girlfriend.
