Sony PlayStation 4 Pro: Arrives on November 10 for $ 399 with better graphics – CNET in Spanish

Sony says that current and older games can be updated to play in the Pro, which has hardware improved. This is known as Forward Compatibility or future compatibility. He showed a comparison of how the new console can improve existing games like Paragon , Shadow of Mordor and For Honor with a standard TV 1080p. The company said about half a dozen of such upgrades are already underway.

Another demonstration showed off the Pro enhanced ability to provide gaming in virtual reality in conjunction with the PlayStation VR, which comes next month.

Sony said the PS4 Pro will feature the Netflix app at launch, and will be able 4K and HDR (as the Xbox One S). The YouTube app for Pro also have 4K resolution. There was no mention on the compatibility with the app of streaming 4K Ultra.

The company also said the PS4 consoles will support existing HDR with the help of upgrades firmware that will come in the week of September 12.
