The Bosco, the most successful exposition in the Prado Museum in Madrid – cutting Edge.com.mx

The great monographic exhibition of The artist, projected by the Prado Museum of Madrid on the occasion of the V centenary of the birth of the Dutch painter, has already become the most visited of the history of the art gallery of spain.

With all tickets sold out until Sunday, day in which will close to the public after four months showing the enigmatic and disturbing universe of the artist, has attracted 585.000 people. Until now, the most famous was “the Hermitage in The Prado”, in 2011.

“The Bosco. The exposure of the V centenary” makes a tour of 21 paint and eight original drawings by the painter, one of the most original and influential of the Renaissance.

The huge interest in the exhibition, complemented by other parallel activities, forced the Prado Museum to extend it for two weeks and to extend also the opening hours of the room.
