In an exclusive development on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, the powerful businessman Pedro Chazarreta is found dead. To cover what undoubtedly will be the story of the year, the director of the largest newspaper in the country calls for the prestigious Betibú novelist to write a series of columns on the case. The writer gradually become involved in research and with the help of two journalists by police discover that the death of the employer is only the first link in a series of assassinations of powerful men who share a common past dark.
