Fili is Kirk Douglas Trumbo – Reuters

MADRID, Sept. 23 (EUROPA PRESS)

Dean O’Gorman , known for his role as Fili in The Hobbit,
will play the actor Kirk Douglas in the biopic of famed screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, starring Bryan Cranston the unforgettable Walter White Breakin Bad .

The film will focus on the eventful career of Trumbo since its inception and will be directed by the director and producer Jay Roach, who directed films like Meet the Parents and Austin Powers:. The Spy Who Shagged Me

The cast will be headed by the winner of a Golden Globe for her performance in Breakin Bad Bryan Cranston, who will play Dalton Trumbo ; Actress Diane Lane ( Under the Tuscan Sun ) will play his wife; Michael Stuhlbarg will play the actor Edward G. Robinson; Oscar winner Helen Mirren will be the heart journalist Hedda Hopper; Elle Fanning as Nikola Trumbo; David James Elliot and play the Hollywood icon John Wayne.
