Gunnar Hansen , actor, writer and screenwriter, who played the iconic villain Leatherface in the original version of “The slaughter of Texas” (“Texas Chain Saw Massacre”) died Saturday as a result of pancreatic cancer at his home in Maine, said a spokesman. He was 68.
