London .- Scientists at Queen Mary college London say they have identified the man who hides behind the pseudonym of Banksy, thanks to a method used by the police to unmask criminals called geographic profiling.
The researchers selected 140 works attributed to the artist in London and Bristol, his hometown. They have highlighted a number of “hot spots” like a pub, a sports ground, an address in Bristol and three in the británica- capital all frequented by a certain Robin Gunningham, whose name circulates since 2008 as possibly applicable this artist so jealous of his anonymity, quoted by AFP .
the specialized blog in new technologies Gizmodo reported that, in reasoning, the researchers are associating the art of Banksy to “minor acts of terrorism,” noting that the artist signs his works and sometimes attributed some of the wrong way.
