Another film “Indiana Jones” was rumored from long time, sometimes with murmurs of different actors who could assume the role of Ford. But Spielberg has insisted repeatedly that Ford would never be replaced.
The return of the actor 73 years as the famous ensombrerado archaeologist comes shortly after repetition of another equal role emblematic: Han Solo in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” ( “Star Wars: the awakening of force”).
“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in the history of cinema, and we’re eager to get him back to the screen in 2019,” said Alan Horn, president of Walt Disney Studios. “It is rare to have such a perfect combination of a director, producer, actor and role, and we could not be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven”.
The film, currently untitled, will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall.
