Contemporary art invades Hong Kong – The Universe

Created in Basel (Switzerland) in 1970, Art Basel landed in Miami in 2002, to do so in 2013 in Hong Kong, confirming the reputation of the metropolis as a major market center contemporary art.

the gallery owners are convinced that, despite the slowdown in the Chinese economy, Asian collectors are still willing to invest to buy contemporary art.

Great artists they are already present in the city, as the British Tracey Emin, whose new exhibition I cried because I Love you (I cried because I love you) is visible in the center of Hong Kong. (F)
