Author of “Gangnam Style” returns to his roots with a new album – RPP News

The South Korean singer Psy, famous for his hit “Gangnam Style” that holds the absolute record of visits in Youtube, presented in Seoul their first studio album in five years, which claims to have returned to their origins.

Chiljip Psy-da (“Seventh album Psy” in Korean) is the title of the new work, which contains nine songs, of which are the singles “Napal Baji” (meaning “Bell bottoms”) and “Daddy” (“Dad” in English).

Psy is considered an idol in his country for having triumphed on the international stage to ensure that “Gangnam Style” is so far the most watched video on Youtube with over 2,460 million views.

South Korean singer will participate in the awards Wednesday Mnet Asia Music Awards in Hong Kong and offer concerts in Seoul between 24 and 26 December.
