Kylo Ren is not the only villain in The Force Awakens, but certainly the one that receives more attention in the film due to his obsession with Darth Vader and the dark side of the force. The director J.J. Abrams revealed why is that adores Ren Kylo Vader even when he left the dark side in his last moments.
“Ren idolizes Kylo Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker not. He idolizes what is and what Vader Vader was trying to do. And what he was trying to do, if you see it from the point of view of Ren, he was seduced by the enemy and failed due to the seduction. The idea is that Ren wants to complete that Vader began “Abrams told IGN.
But his obsession with Vader is not all that bordered him to join the dark side, then what was it?
“An incredible power, incredible strength and incredible potential that as many young disoriented and without a proper guide. The history of it, is one of conflict, not only external but internal conflict conflict.”
If you saw The Force Awakens , you probably know what that refers to, if not, you’ll know once you see it or at least understand more of these conflicts Abrams talking.
