Guru Josh, British musician known for his song “ Infinity” , published in 1989, has died at age 51 for unknown causes. His agent, Sharron Elkabas, confirmed that he was in Ibiza at the time of his death.
musical producer and artist, Guru Josh was considered an icon of the scene post-acid house in the UK. His song “Infinity” garnered tremendous international success and has served on numerous compilations since. It was reprinted seven years ago in a remixed version called “Infinity 2008″, which managed to sell 12 million copies.
After the boom, Josh moved from the UK to Ibiza, where he focused on their business music production, digital creation and promotion of rave culture. Mix these facets emerged another successful project, this time under the peculiar name of Dr Devious.
In 2014 the exhibition presented in Madrid Reflections. From music to art, in which he brought together the house with another of his passions, artistic creation.
In 2008, it formed “Guru Josh Project” and launched a new remake of the late 80s, achieved great success in the world of electronics again.
