Bill Cosby accused of sexual assault in the case of 2004 – Univision

Actor and comedian Bill Cosby faces charges of sexual assault in a case dating back to 2004 in which a woman was allegedly drugged and assaulted in his home in a suburb of Philadelphia.

Dozens of women have publicly complained that Cosby raped. However, this is the first time the actor faces criminal charges.

Kevin Steele, first assistant district attorney in Montgomery, Pennsylvania, presented on Wednesday the prosecution based on new evidence incriminates him.

The specific charge is indecent aggravated assault in the first degree, cataloged by Steele as an act where there was penetration without the consent of the victim, Andrea Constand, an employee of Temple University.

“He took pills and wine”

“He gave her pills and wine. The victim was paralyzed. A person in this condition is unable to give consent,” he said tax.

Cosby
this afternoon appear before the magistrate in the case, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.

It is expected Comedian has denied the allegations and even makes few days filed a lawsuit against seven women accusing them of defamation.

On this specific allegation, Cosby acknowledged under oath a decade that had a sexual encientro with Constand ago, but claims it was consensual.

The interesting thing here is that the charges are presented just days before the expiration of the statute of limitations of 12 years that would have prevented the alleged victim to press charges.
