Thom Yorke revealed a compound for ‘Spectre’ issue that ultimately was not selected – Metronome Magazine

Previously, Adele had been chosen to interpret “Skyfall”, the main track of the twenty-third film in the film series James Bond . This year was the turn of singer-songwriter British Sam Smith , who gave us “Writing’s on the Wall,” the court chosen for Spectre (2015), the latest 007 tape.

However, something that had been speculated since July was that Thom Yorke was one of the candidates to compose the theme of the film. And indeed, the English artist confirmed this prognosis stating through its official Twitter account that he had created a song for the film, but ultimately was not used in it.

“Last year They asked us to compose a song for the film Spectre Bond. Yes, we were asked. It did not work, but became something that we love. As the year is ending, we thought maybe they want to hear. Merry Christmas, that the force be with you, “added the leader of Radiohead.
