(CNN) – After initial favorable reactions on Twitter, the reviews of film critics seem to confirm the overwhelmingly positive response to Star Wars: The Awakening force .
The film currently has a rating of 97% “fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes review site and so far only two have posted negative reviews critics.
Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly , said the film was “wrapped in a fun adventure epic mythology” while Ann Hornaday, the American newspaper The Washington Post , said “ The awakening of force all the right touches, emotional and narrative fiber, plus it feels known and refreshingly new.”
Much of the praise were directed to JJ Abrams, producer, director and screenwriter who was largely responsible for returning to give impetus to the series.
Robie Collin, the British newspaper The Telegraph , said that “JJ Abrams movie prepares to take a Star Wars from its lethargy and Series reconnect with his past so longed for. He who achieves it immediately and cheerfully is probably the greatest film year of relief. ”
