Judge denies closing case against Roman Polanski – Azteca News

Los Angeles, EUA.- The request for the case against Director Roman Polanski outside closed after three decades was dismissed by a judge in Los Angeles, reported spokespersons court.

The Oscar winner, who fled the United States in 1978 when facing a process for sexual abuse of a minor, has led him to go on the run in countries where there is no extradition order to this country.

Legal Representatives asked a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles that the case is closed , but the judge warned that it will remain open until the same Polanski appear.

Polanski , director of “Rosemary’s Baby” was accused of raping and sodomizing a 13-year-old.

The lawyers of Polanski , now 81, made the motion last before Judge James R. Brandlín, who said he will remain because the filmmaker has refused week appear.

In October, Polanski was arrested when he was in Poland to attend the premiere of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews and after being questioned by prosecutors Poles was released.
