Confirm conviction to electrician Pablo Picasso by hiding 271 of his works – Daily Mail

The French justice confirmed this Friday to appeal the suspended sentence of two years in prison against the outside electrician of Pablo Picasso and his wife, for having concealed for 40 years in their garage 271 artworks of the artist.

The defendant, Pierre Him Guennec, and his wife, Danielle, failed to convince the justice that the widow of Picasso, Jacqueline, had donated the works, and the court of appeal of Aix Provence (south-east French), confirmed the judgment of first instance 2015.

Pierre Le Guennec, convicted last year along with his wife Danielle to two years of prison in suspense by hiding the works, stated that a few months after the death of Picasso in 1973, the widow of the master malageño, Jacqueline, asked stored between 15 to 17 rubbish bags that contained pieces of the artist.
