LOS ANGELES, December. 9 (UPI) – Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith are officially divorced after 20 years of marriage
The old couple finalized their divorce on Tuesday, splitting the revenue produced tapes. Banderas between 2004 and 2014, such as Shrek 2 , Machete Kills and Expendables 3 , among others. The Spanish actor will keep the proceeds from previous films, such as The Mask of Zorro , Desperado and Spy Kids .
documents obtained by TMZ reveal that the actor’s new film 33 will also pay his former wife a couple back for $ 65,000. Among other belongings, Griffith will take ownership of a painting by Pablo Picasso called ‘The Painter and His Model’ while Banderas left with a brush work of Picasso and Diego Rivera.
Around the eighth year of marriage, it is reported that the couple had agreed post-marital terms, separating their finances between 1996 and 2004. Any income made within that period, they would not divide in the divorce.
Flags Griffith sold his residence in California by 15.95 million dollars in June this year, just 10 days after putting it on the market for just over 16 million. The mansion of over 4,000 square meters bought it in 1999 for less than five million dollars.
Griffith Banderas filed for divorce in the summer of 2014, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’. The couple has a daughter, Stella, for whom recently met in high school graduation.
