It’s been over 20 years since a nun dressed Whoopi Goldberg changed a convent of San Francisco in Sister Act and now works in the Disney remake of the movie . The Hollywood Reporter aunciaba the news, one of the most successful musicals of the early nineties returns to the big screen.
Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah , known for works such as 10 Things I Hate and Legally Blonde , will be in charge of writing the script. As a producer will be Alli Shearmur , who has just released version flesh of the classic Cinderella .
It is still unknown who will star in the new film even if Whoopi Goldberg will have a role in the remake. This would be the third installment Sister Act . Back at the convent : After the first version released in 1992, a second part, Sister Act 2 arrived. The success of the film does not end there as it gave the leap to Broadway with a musical Tony Award winner . We have to wait a bit to see if success continues to accompany the singing nun in this new version.
