Perhaps no new Harry Potter novels in progress, but the famous boy wizard will be uploaded to the London stage in a new play that will premiere next summer.
The author of the series, J.K. Rowling on Friday released a message on Twitter in which he said he was “very excited” to confirm the new building, which will be called “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” (“Harry Potter and Child Cursed”).
The production is based on a new original story by Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Release is expected to take place at the Palace Theatre in London.
Thorne wrote the script, which will be led by Tiffany. This is the first play about Potter.
Rowling is the author of seven novels in the Harry Potter saga, who achieved worldwide fame and became hit movies.
Tickets will go on sale this fall.
