The Spanish Laia Costa triumphs in German Film Night with … – Terra Colombia

The Spanish actress Laia Costa triumphed today in the Great Night with the German Film Award for Best Actress for her role in “Victoria”, the film which swept a total of six awards, including best film of the year and best director, Sebastian Schipper.

The film, shot like a sequence of 140 minutes flat, follows in the footsteps of a Spanish girl in the Berlin night.

“Victoria” started as a favorite at the annual gala of the German film and was selected among the six finalists for the grand prize of the year.
