Martin Henderson replaces Patrick Dempsey in “Grey’s Anatomy” – El Universal (Venezuela)

The American writer Shonda Rhimes, creator of TV dramas such as Grey’s Anatomy and How To Get Away With Murder, found that actor Martin Henderson will be who replaces Patrick Dempsey in the twelfth season of the series that takes place in the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

New Zealand origin, Martin Henderson moved to the United States in 1997 to enroll in acting school Neighborhood Playhouse, where he studied for two years. But earlier, in 1992, he had played the character of Stuart Neilson in the series Shortland street . And in 1996 he appeared as a guest on the popular Australian series Home and away, where he played Geoff Thomas, a young man who has a brief relationship with Selina Roberts.

Henderson, who served in the film of John Woo Windtalkers, and also in the horror film The ring , has not made statements yet about the character played by Grey’s Anatomy.
